The Baptist Children's Emergency Center & Facilities

Baptist Children’s Hospital has a 48-bed inpatient pediatric floor, an 8 -bed Pediatric Intensive Care unit, and is supported by all major pediatric subspecialties. BCH has 24-hour OR capacity, radiologist coverage, CT & MRI capacity, and pediatric hospitalist and nurse practitioners on staff 24-hours for admissions.

Opportunity

PedEM, PLLC offers the opportunity for shifts at our sister hospital, West Kendall Baptist Hospital. It is the primary teaching hospital for the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. WKBH has a 6-bed, 24-hour Pediatric ED with full time Pedi ED nursing, staff, and child life support.
